At this moment, some of us might be feeling frustrated because life looks so different than what we would like it to be. We might then find ourselves sad, feeding negative thoughts and narratives about how difficult things are.
What if, for one moment, we just breathe? What if we just pause and allow our emotions, life experiences just be what they are?
The thing is…. Events on the outside are continuously changing. Now it is day, then it becomes night. Now it is quiet, then it becomes noisy. If we keep putting our happiness in that which is temporary, we get stuck in a cycle, and we never really feel satisfied.
We have another option though. We can invest in getting to know ourselves. And we can focus on being that best version of ourselves. It is up to us to break free from limitations. And if we catch our mind unhappy about the results that haven’t come yet… we can breathe again, and just focus on what we can actually be and do, right now.
When we choose to stop engaging into negativity and complaining, we find out that there is a sense of space available. A space where we are safe, strong and free.
